THIS TERM:

We have learned about the artist Frederick Hundertwasser and his architecture, with his rejection of straight lines and focus on bold colours and individualism. Students recreated his Lollipop Trees whilst exploring warm and cool colours, and experimenting with the technique of blending.

We have explored Andy Warhol’s Pop Art, where he uses screen printing to replicate images and then experiments with amazing colour that rarely ‘makes sense’.

Our school captains have designed and, in between the rainy days, started to create a mural as a backdrop for our totem poles.
